Announcing PRISM a community solutions, community rooted collective.
As I embark on this new journey as leader of PRISM, a informal, democratically, egalitarian social- economic valued community oriented organization.
PRISM will facilitate cooperation, empower collaboration to help partners overcome resistance faced by everyone who wants to reach a goal. This is especially true, but not limited to people from "the hood". I'm mad excited ( thrilled, inlightned and humbled) by the prospect of taking a front row seat to most divine jewel on earth: YOU!
PRISM: A community group, a seed, a diamond of the struggle born by the pressure of the unique, yet often universal journey we've been blessed to grace will launch Juneteenth 2025. (Thursday, January 19, 2025.)
PRISM is accepting school supply donations (including laptops, notebooks, pens, pencils, etc) for our BLACK to school iniative. We are also accepting monetary donations that will be publicly tracked and transparently disbursed for our on-going auction to raise funds for supplies for our scholars we have partnered with. Scholar partners will receive school supplies from their freshman year to graduation.

Christopher Rose, 15, is is believed to be the first person who was murdered in an iPod robbery. I wonder if the young man who killed Christopher would of had a job, or parents with money to buy an iPod for him, or perhaps someone to teach him about materialism and where it leads- would this have happened?

"We are writing to urge the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to approve the New York State Department of Health (DOH)’s Medicaid 1115 Waiver Amendment. We are approaching the one-year mark of the State’s request, and the approval of the Waiver has never been more vital to the health of New York State residents and healthcare system. In New York City, we are faced with a crisis in our healthcare delivery system, as our hospital system struggles to provide the high quality care necessary to meet the needs of our patient population. The $10 billion Waiver would not only allow the State to invest in innovative models of healthcare delivery, but it would also allow our hospitals to continue providing the care that saves the lives of our residents. "
